Tyneside Kickers CIC will work within the scope of all relevant Statutory Guidance, Practice Guidance and Local Safeguarding Children’s Board Procedures.

The service will;

  • Have a Safeguarding Children Policy
  • Ensure all staff within the service has undertaken training appropriate to their role within Safeguarding
  • Ensure all staff will have access to expert advice, guidance and support from suitably qualified and experienced safeguarding children professionals
  • Work collaboratively with other agencies, children and families to support children and young people where there are identified health needs. This will include referring children and families to specialist medical support where appropriate
  • Work proactively and support the implementation of health plans relative to the child’s needs
  • Ensure that robust Information sharing agreements with wider health, non-health and local authority services
